Syndeecate apocalypse 2003 real-time report

Hello readres. This is real report from SA03 party written by Factor6. Well, what can I write? I don't know. It's same like on previous year. No people, no fun, no brain. Hehehehe. Well, the partyplace is the same like last year - Prvni Valassky Hostinsky Pivovar in the nice town of Roznov pod Radhostem, situated on the east of the Czech Republic. It was only PC related party in the past, but last year it had been split into one big party together with Apocalypse Amiga party organised by Lahve/Scoopex. And it also have a ZX Spectrum section, of course my friendzz :)
Okay. I really don't know what to write, so I will report you what's happening right now: TDM is showning some crazy photos on his digital camera to Lahve. Lahve is laughing and we all are watching (listening) PC music compo entries. Now plays Zkurveny Zivot by Pojebany kokot. It's great!!!! PC rulez. Hehe :) Now another pause and then some PC pictures and othrer things will follow.
Now something about organization. It's not good. Yes my friends, only TDM/H-PRG was active enough and he did really A LOT for this party. Bass, the PC org is also helpfull, but I think a bit lazy. The compo entries on ZX Spectrum were completely not prepared, some people sent us musics made in the latest version ProTracker and we are not able to play them. Really sorry my friendz. You know that we don't own TR-DOS based systems and you also know very good that you had to send your ZX contributions in TAP format. Sadly, there was some SCLs and one TRD file and we were not able to convert/play the musics.
Now, PC pictures. They say they're pixelled, but they looks like scans :) Yes, almost all PC pictures are scanned :) What a shame :) #116 rulez.
Well, but back to Spectrum people here. There are about 10 ZX people which is a success, because last year there weren't much of them. There are also some demo compo entries, which is also a small surprise for me. OK, Amiga compos will follow now. ... Greetings to Yerzmyey/H-PRG for reading this :))) hehehehehehe. No we are not drinking vodka now, I drink Fanta, but yesterday we had really big fun drinking some beer, smoking some weed and having phun from TDM's and Lahve's Psychedelic Lahve project. Then we lost the right way to the hostel and we had a lot of phun in Lahve's car. But we found it finally.
The accomodation in Roznov is really good. We are in some hostel and it costs 140CZK per one day. It's a good price, the rooms have 4 beds and a bathroom. Nice. The parytplace is joined with a restaurant, so we can have some food if we want during all the day.
I really don't know how russian c-parties really look like, but although I like many things here, I hope russian ones have better organisation. I also think Forever party was really better in many things. I cannot speak instead of TDM, but this is probably the last Syndeecate organized by him. Many people here are frustrated because of the low amount of visitors. It's the same like previous year. There are about 50 people at the party place and the orgs expected more than 100. Hmm, yes I am sceptic.
Thanks must go to all, who sent us their contributions and supported this party. Mainly to russian people. But remember for all non-russian parties: Your music HAS TO BE COMPILED and SELF EXECUTABLE (that means a Basic loader). We highly recommend to convert your SCL or TRD stuff to TAP files. Thank you for paying attention. This is really important for us. The next thing you did not and you had to do was to fill the FORM.TXT file. Because names of the compo entries, their authors and other infoirmation are shown on the bigscreen during the compos and all the stuff is taken right from these text files. So for the next time, fill it and leave the correct syntax of it. Thanks.
Now are playing Amiga 4chn mods and the atmosphere is quite nice here. #124 follows. CindyGate.mod is really cool! Phunky :) The ZX cathegory will be presented at the end of compos, again because organisation problems (lame). PC sucks, yeah! Amiga forever!!! hahahaaaaaaa..
There are not many people from Amigascene. Only Lahve/Scoopex is traditionally here, TDM/HlA (and H-PRG on Speccy), me (F6) and Enif, a former coder on Amiga, now on Macintosh i guess. I don't know any more Amiga people here. Sorry again.
Well, I hope organizers will collect vote sheets, count them correctly and put all the entries to the net so you can enjoy the stuff like we now, on the party! Okay, and that's all from me for now.
The ZX and Amiga compos are over and I'm back on da keys. I must say that we had quite lot of fun by watching the compos, and listening music. Mainly my music was really crazy. I composed it without sound :) Well, almost. Btw. Hooy Program's Sailor demo rulez and Wirne by Zeroteam is great !!!
Now, MME by Reason (Amiga) will be shown. We all hope... No sound... Grrrrrrr... Another try... Yes, the failure is on the PC organising side. Okay, here we go... Cool demo. Lahve comments it. And the demo is over followed by big applause. Lapsuus is also great demonstration. And we plan to show also Magia by TBL during this small break we have between compos. Hi there, Lahve at the keyboard. I have to say: organization on PC computers sucked like hell, Amiga and unbelievable ZX were always prepared to be useful when PC failed. Now, PC freaks told us they want to run something, so we won't see anz Ephidrena demos. Now we are gonna go for some beers and weeds, getting stoned rocks here on partyplace :). God help us... Lahve is logging out...
Hehe, Factor6 is here. Again. Lahve is busy now, he has to roll some joint. Do you like flowers? And do you like cars? Yeah! We'll have both of them today! :) Well, it's funny place. TDM will take some pictures. And I am writing and writing and waiting and waiting for Lahve...
Okay here we go! We are back from the joint session. We smoked and we are stoned. On the big screen some shit PC compo and we are imititing popular Czech celebrities :)
PC demo compo is over and I have only to say that PC demos and intros ruled the party. It was the best production. The demo with tanks was the best. Over.
